Universidad Autonoma of Nuevo Leon resumes activities this January 18 with the new master degree in Energy Technology and the UANL app for mobile devices, as well as the exhibition of the champion trophy of Mexican soccer.

Around 180,000 students and 6,700 professors start academic activities in 26 undergraduate schools, 26 high schools, and 3 technical high schools of UANL.

Our welcome day will be fantastic thanks to the Trophy Tour, which will be present at three UANL campuses, enabling the interaction with the student community.

The trophy will be exhibited on January 18 next to the President Tower in Ciudad Universitaria, on January 19 at the University Theater in Mederos, and lastly on January 20 at the Gymnasium of the Health Science Campus from 9:00 to 13:00.

Such start reflects the leadership in national sports of UANL, as Club Tigres is the current championship holder in Mexican soccer. Autenticos is the three-time champion of the National Student Organization of American Football in the major, minor and intermediate categories. Moreover, UANL won 12 titles in the National University Games, 10 of which were consecutively achieved.

UANL App, the University Is Now in Your Hands

UANL introduces its official app for students. The application will provide easier access to the most relevant information, such as online services, school procedures, as well as the University academic and administrative calendar.

With the application you will be able to find the Tigre Bus routes, along with its stops and schedules. Other services include news, events, a map of Ciudad Universitaria, official websites, a service directory, contact information of the Department of Security and Surveillance, as well as UANL experts that provide assistance about health care via anonymous questions.

The UANL created this application since it reached about 2.5 million of electronic accesses via mobile devices in a monthly basis, which is nearly half of the accesses. Moreover, the App will also benefit professors and workers of the Institution.
