UANL draws National and International talent for Academic Exchange

UANL President Santos Guzman Lopez welcomed students from 14 countries across Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León welcomed 165 students from Mexico and abroad who will attend the January–June 2025 semester as part of the National and International Mobility Program.

During the ceremony, UANL President Santos Guzmán López emphasized the University’s commitment to promoting internationalization initiatives, such as academic mobility programs.

Our goal is to update our mobility agreements with international institutions each semester, ensuring that we offer the best of what we do here, so that our students can also have the opportunity to experience mobility abroad”.

During this school year, 106 students from 24 higher education institutions across Mexico will have the opportunity to study in graduate and postgraduate programs at the leading academic institution in the state.

UANL Vice President for International Relations, Sandra Nora González Díaz, announced that 59 students from 13 Latin American, European, and Asian countries will also participate in academic, research, or medical rotations during this period.

he emphasized the importance of building synergy and fostering student collaboration to promote cultural exchange among students from different parts of the world, including Korea, Spain, Finland, India, Italy, and Ukraine.

Latin America is represented at UANL by students from Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and Honduras.

“I came to UANL for its sustainability program and it has a lot to do with my science initiation project. I had a class and my professor was very good and I am happy to be in the City of Mountains, although the weather was a bit cold”. Flavia Candido Ribeiro, a young Brazilian from the University of Sao Paulo who will spend an academic stay at the UANL School of Nursing.
