The Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León will make available to livestock producers in Mexico 50 lots of cattle, goats, and sheep of the highest genetic quality at its XVI Gran Subasta UANL 2024.

The Gran Subasta has become a tradition at the UANL, held annually since 2008, as part of the university’s social commitment to the productive sector.

Goat lots: Alpino Francés and Saanen.
Cattle lots: Brangus, Red Brangus, Charolais, Charbray, Simmental, and Simbrah.
Sheep lots: Saint Croix.

Experts from the Facultad de Agronomía, Facultad de Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia, Centro Regional de Fomento Ganadero Vallecillo, and the Centro de Investigación en Producción Agropecuaria of the university are involved in this process.

The XVI edition of the Gran Subasta will take place on September 7th, starting at 1:30 PM, at the Centro de Exposiciones Agropecuarias de la UANL, located on the Campus de Ciencias Agropecuarias in the municipality of General Escobedo.
