UANL: 87 years working for Mexico

UANL 87th anniversary.

Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon celebrates one more anniversary, which is marked by the times of the pandemic, at the same time it is a world-class institution thanks to the implementation of a successful digital strategy.

With academic, scientific, artistic, and cultural activities that are carried out virtually, the UANL starts the 87th-anniversary celebrations, in which it will present, from September 21^st to 25^th, 16 activities including conferences, lectures, and concerts with outstanding personalities from around the world.

The official celebration will take place on September 25, where the President of our institution, Rogelio Garza Rivera will give a message to the university community. This event will be also broadcast through social networks. The university community will be able to participate in interesting talks with guests as renowned as Julia Carabias and Jorge Fernandez, current Minister of Cultural Relations of the Mexican Embassy in Spain.

A different year for UANL

The year 2020 was just beginning when the coronavirus pandemic forced the UANL to close its facilities and let students complete their studies online. The administrative staff works from home, as an alternative to continue offering the University’s services.
