A recharged, apocalyptic and terrifying new version of Mad Max, directed in 2015 by George Miller, we face a future devastated by an arid climate, sandstorms that suffocate everything in their path, and a deadly water shortage dominated by new tyrants of asphalt.

It is not unrealistic to consider that the lack of drinking water affects around 2.8 billion people in all continents of the world for at least one month.

Therefore, ALIS (Algae Innovation Solutions) was created by Ramón de Hoyos Cantú at the School of Biological Sciences (FCB), with the goal of generating an immediate impact on the preservation of the environment.
