ISPA endorses UANL academic programs
Ruben Ramirez Nava, head of the UANL School of Physical Education, mentioned that with the reaccreditation and new accreditation of three academic programs, all of the School's curricula are now internationally certified.
All nine programs of the UANL School of Physical Education (FOD by its acronym in Spanish) were distinguished worldwide by the International Sports Professionals Association (ISPA) thanks to the quality of their teaching programs.
In his speech, the head of FOD, Rubén Ramírez Nava, emphasized that the awards received by the institution represent one hundred percent of the school’s educational programs, both in terms of their orientations and the modalities in which they are taught.
Of the 61 educational programs with international accreditation available at the University, six already pertained to FOD and today we are contributing a total of three certified programs, making a total of nine programs with international accreditation. This represents 20 percent of the total, which makes us very proud and fills us with satisfaction”.

He also highlighted the fact that out of the 16 internationally endorsed postgraduate programs at the UANL, five already were part of the School of Sports Organization.
“Today we are adding two more to a total of seven, which represents almost 50 percent of the accredited graduate programs at the University, and this is a source of satisfaction for our faculty,” said the head of FOD.
In this sense, the UANL President, Santos Guzman Lopez, emphasized that the nine academic programs distinguished by the ISPA are the result of the work that has been done in recent years.
FOD and UANL, a select group
In his virtual message to the students and teachers attending the ceremony, ISPA President John Mayer indicated that the School of Physical Education at Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon belongs to a select group of educational institutions worldwide that offers various academic programs in this field.
It is important to note that some of the acknowledged programs of study are taught in coordination with the Schools of Medicine, Psychology, and Communication of our Maximum Academic Institution
