Three UANL academic programs were given international seals of distinction
Awarded programs are Civil Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, and Information Technologies from the School of Civil Engineering.
The educational quality of three academic programs at the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon was internationally acknowledged with the EUR-ACE and EURO-INF seals.
Awarded programs are Civil Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, and Information Technologies from the School of Civil Engineering, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and the School of Accounting and Business Management.
“It is a source of pride that these schools have received these international seals for their programs of study since they are emblematic institutions of the University because they have bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees with high-quality standards,” said UANL President Rogelio Garza Rivera.
The result of this appraisal was a joint work between ANECA and the Council for the Accreditation of Engineering Education (CACEI) which, by having these seals of excellence, ensures that graduates are internationally recognized for the skills and knowledge acquired in their careers”, said Mercedes Siles Molina.
Accreditations obtained today by Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon provide quality to the three academic programs with high international standards, as these seals are the most prestigious in the field of engineering, said the Head of Undergraduate Studies of the UANL, Gerardo Tamez Gonzalez
