UANL Arts Award 2021

The UANL 2021 Arts Awards were presented to Eduardo Caballero Treviño (Auditory Arts), Jeannette L. Clariond (Literary Arts), Gina Arizpe (Visual Arts), and Jaime Lozano (Performing Arts).

Four of the winning artists are known for their closeness to Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, through their artistic, teaching, and editorial work.

The award was presented in a Solemn Session on August 26, in a ceremony headed by Rector Rogelio Garza Rivera. Each award winner will receive a diploma and an economic incentive, as well as the schools that nominated them.

The members of the Committee considered the creative activity and trajectory of the 25 proposed candidates, whose contributions enrich and enhance artistic practices in Nuevo León, with national and international resonance.
