UANL academic programs received international accreditation
Graduates from accredited engineering programs will now be able to study or work in any of the countries of the European Union.
Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo Leon obtained two EUR-ACE labels from the European Network for the Accreditation of Engineering Education due to an outstanding quality.
The National Quality Assessment and Accreditation Agency of Spain certified two academic programs offered by the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
The Bachelors of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering as well as Manufacturing Engineering were granted with this certificate. These two joined the list of previously certified Bachelor of Systems Engineering Management and Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Management.
UANL is now the Mexican university with the greatest number of European distinctions for its educational programs.
The EUR-ACE label is an accreditation regarding first-class quality and it is renowned in 28 countries of the European Nation. Graduates will now be able to study or work in any of the countries of the European Union.
Rogelio Garza Rivera, UANL President, and Jaime A. Castillo Elizondo, Dean of the School, received on May 30th the international accreditanton in Madrid.
Rogelio Garza Rivera said: “We congratulate all staff, students, graduates, and the executives of the school for their hard work and discipline in order to achieve this international award.
“This accomplishment allows us to move forward in order to reach our goal of 2020 Vision and stay on course for 2030 Vision to offer our students a high-quality and comprehensive education for the betterment of humanity.
“This way, with the commitment of all UANL institutions, our Institution consolidates as a world class university that educates to advance, and advance to educate”.
