UANL dance company performs in France

As the only representative of Mexico in the International Festival À Corps, the UANL Dance Company of the School of Performing Arts presented their work on April 7 at the Théâtre Auditorium Poitiers, in France.

At this festival, one of the most important in Europe, the premiere of “SAADA” by Sunny Savoy took place, with Mariana Milan, Sofia Ramos Flores, Edgar Bocanegra, and Mario Cantu as performers, under the coordination and management of Emma Lozano and Ivan Flores.

Disciplines in motion

From March 31 to April 7, professional contemporary dance companies and international universities from countries such as Korea, France, and Mexico gathered in the Gallic country to reflect in round table discussions and performances.

These workshops, where the most outstanding proposals of contemporary dance gather, are a space where the diversity of aesthetics, geography, and generations come together in search of the same thing: movement.
