UANL partners with Casa da America Latina
Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon and Casa de America Latina in Lisbon have signed a collaboration agreement in fields such as chemistry, medicine, Mexican literature, sociology, and humanities.
Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon signed a strategic alliance with Casa da America Latina em Lisboa to promote academic and cultural collaboration between Mexico and Portugal.
This agreement entails the establishment of relations between both institutions for the development of artistic and literary activities, as well as in the field of ideas and knowledge.
The Officer of Extension and Culture of the UANL, José Javier Villarreal, and the General Secretary of the Casa de América Latina, Manuela Júdice, signed this specific cooperation agreement on March 16 at the “Alfonso Rangel Guerra” Auditorium of the School of Philosophy and Literature.
The signing of the document took place during the UANLeer 2023 University Book Fair, a book and reading promotion festival that includes a program of 220 activities.
For her part, Manuela Júdice noted this encounter that allows for the identification of areas of common interest for scientific and cultural collaboration. Based in Lisbon, they visualize several areas of opportunity including fine arts, chemistry, medicine, Mexican literature, sociology, and humanities.
