Academic studies continue in Poland

Verónica Yazmin Flores Lagos, a School of Biological Sciences (FCB) student, will carry out her academic exchange in the city of Wroclaw, Poland.

The tenth-semester student of the Bachelor’s Degree in Genomic Biotechnology will continue her studies at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. There, she will take courses in microbiology, biomaterials composition, water treatment, and bioreactors.

One of my goals is to strengthen my second language skills and learn about Polish customs, as I believe their culture is quite different from ours. I’m also excited about the opportunity to advance my knowledge in chemistry and biology through my studies there”.
