Application for International Students
The UANL, facilitated by the Department of Academic Exchange, provides foreign students with the chance to participate in mobility programs. These opportunities are available to students from institutions with existing agreements, as well as those affiliated with the Foreign Relations of our country (AMEXCID) and other collaborating organizations partnered with the UANL.
Application Period:
Submit your applications from March 18 to June 21, 2024.
Exchange Period:
Experience the exchange program from August to December 2024.
Mobility Application Requirements:
- Complete the UANL format for the Mobility Application (send only this format).
- Include a Letter of Application from your home university (if allowed by your home university for the mobility).
- Submit your Kardex/record, detailing the courses taken and grades obtained.
- Provide a Letter explaining the reasons for your desire to undertake the exchange at UANL.
- Attach your Curriculum Vitae.
- Include a Letter of Psychological Study, conducted by a qualified psychologist, covering aspects such as adaptability, temperament, and stress management.
- Present a Letter of Good Health issued by a physician, indicating any genetic conditions or comorbidities that need to be known or confirming good health.
- Submit a photocopy of your valid passport.
- Provide a Certificate of Spanish language proficiency at level B2 for non-native speakers.
- Include a Letter of No Criminal Record.
- Submit two letters of recommendation (academic or employment).
- Upload a photograph in JPEG format.
Note: These requirements are specifically for AMEXCID/CONAHEC/SRI programs and mobility organizations in which UANL participates.
The exchange coordinator from the home university is required to submit all necessary documents digitally to the International Mobility Coordinator of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (Incoming Students), Mtra. Griselda Anaid García Medina, via email. Please consolidate all documents into a single PDF file, either issued or translated into Spanish as appropriate.
Once all requirements are fulfilled, the student will be nominated to their preferred faculty to initiate the letter of acceptance process.
NOTES:
Avoid sending documents via mail.
Incomplete documents or those submitted in a different format will not be considered.
Essential Requirements:
- Covid-19 vaccination certificate.
- International Medical Expenses Insurance (covering repatriation, psychological, dental, and Covid-19 support throughout the entire stay).
- Student Visa (to be processed in the home country, upon acceptance by the chosen UANL faculty, for stays exceeding 180 days).
- If a physical copy of the original Letter of Acceptance is needed, the associated postage or shipping is the responsibility of the individual concerned and must be scheduled accordingly.
