Biología, ecología, reproducción y sistemática (morfológica y molecular) de invertebrados marinos invasores en marinas y puertos de México.

Aportaciones en investigación y académicas

Publicación de 50 artículos científicos en revistas indizadas (como primera autora en 29 de ellos, como autor para correspondencia en 30 de ellos), 3 artículos de divulgación, 2 artículos en revistas no indizadas, 1 libro y 15 capítulos de libros.

Al 2020 sus publicaciones rebasan las 900 citas. Ha presentado trabajos en 27 congresos nacionales y 21 internacionales. Ha establecido 48 especies nuevas para la ciencia y dos nuevos géneros.

Ha impartido 10 conferencias por invitación (3 magistrales). Ha participado en 23 proyectos de investigación, en 5 de ellos como responsable. Ha dirigido 1 tesis de maestría y 5 de licenciatura.
